Hey there,
It's Katy & Tayshan here - also known as Team ASA! We thought it would be nice to introduce ourselves to you properly so we aren't just more strangers behind a screen promising you a business fix.
We are thrilled to have you here and we can't wait to share our knowledge and experiences with you. In this post, we want to take a moment to introduce ourselves and give you a glimpse into who we are and what we're all about.
I'm Katy - I'm 26, SEO nerd by day and a gymnastics coach by night. I have been working at the most incredible small business (owned by my sister so I am a little biased) for the past 10 years, 4 of which I've been the operations manager. My studio manager role entails taking charge of the day to day studio tasks and also keeping on top of the website and market places to make sure we are working at optimum levels. I have also been contracted to improve multiple companies SEO specifically for Etsy; improving impressions and sales by a minimum increase of 50% year on year. However, my time has come to hang up my pink studio apron and freelance work and to begin travelling the world, which is where our idea for 'ASA Solutions' began...
Myself and my partner Tayshan (who will introduce themselves in just a moment) decided it was time to take the virtual assistant and SEO world by storm and set up our very own company. We decided to share our expertise whilst supporting small businesses, helping them to grow and giving small business owners time back to do what they love, both personally and professionally.
We know that a lot of independent companies often miss out on specialist SEO and admin assistance because of high corporate prices, so we made it our mission to have affordable prices so that you can ✨thrive✨, not just survive.
I'm Tayshan, spinner of many plates (metaphorical, unfortunately not real ones yet, but you never know, there is still time). I am also 26 and previous to ASA, I have spent two years working full time as the Centre Manager of a gymnastics club in which I started out as a coach at the ripe old age of 16. My role as Centre Manager consists of managing the member database of 975 members as well as another 5000 prospects, driving membership numbers up to increase revenue, dealing with parent enquiries and complaints, payroll duties, managing a team of 25 employees and volunteers and HR duties such as interviews, on-boarding and disciplinary meetings. I have also been doing freelance admin work for a medication training company which includes creating and distributing attendance records and certificates and invoicing for all training that is delivered. Basically, I am that weirdo that loves doing the admin that most people would think was incredibly boring.
Well that's us... I hope you enjoyed getting a glimpse into who we are. We look forward to chatting with you and getting to know you and your business soon!
If you'd like to meet us, we have free 15 minute admin consultation phone calls available at the moment so we can come up with a plan for your business needs together.
